After being put on life support for two days for a ruptured spleen, Gabbie Jonas died
while sleeping. Her cause of death is still under investigation. Some people believe
that she was injured while playing softball. Others believe she was killed in a car

graduating, she had plans to become an assistant professor at Drake University’s
School of Law.
Jonas was an active member of Drake University’s softball team, competing against
out-of-state schools. She was very outgoing and loved the sport and hitting the ball.
